Victorian Trade Card - Rising Sun Stove Polish - Goat in Mrs. Murphy's Kitchen

This is an original Victorian trade card for Rising Sun Stove Polish and features a man and woman brandishing sticks while a goat butts its reflection in her shiny stove door. The caption reads "Mrs. Murphy, did I not tell you if you used the Rising Sun Polish to keep out the goat."

The back shows a box of Rising Sun Stove Polish nothing "A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever." It also warns of "being humbugged by peddlers with liquid Polishes (paint)" and more.

It measures 3 1/8 x 5 5/8 inches and is in decent condition. The colors are bright, but the right and lower edges have some wear and a little discoloration.

Please note that the images include our watermark, you will receive the original trade card, which of course has no watermark. It will be shipped in a stiff mailer for protection.
